Private Servers are unauthorized clones of GunZ: The Duel hosted on other servers. These servers boast customized weapons, quests, and other goodies to attract players.

The legality of such servers is under question. While emulating software is not illegal, using leaked original server software is. Private servers are discouraged by licensed copyright holders and against the EULA.
